Acadian French-speaking Jean Marc worked the night shift at the local fish processing plant, and filled his daytime hours making rough and colourful carvings of just about every subject imaginable. Jean Marc stopped carving for several years and after he received some encouragement from a collector he did do some carving in 2006. A relative newcomer to the world of folk art, Jean Marc's work is becoming more popular each year.
