Raymond Fancy
(1910 - 1988)

Milton, Queens County, Nova Scotia

Raymond worked in the lumber trade and as a carpenter. He began carving around 1976, having been influenced by Ralph Boutilier, who was a neighbor. Because of a heart condition, he did not produce a lot of work. His son, Larry Fancy, took up carving around 1980.
